Today I watched a splendid movie of yesteryears -"Ek Musafir Ek Haseena" For long I did not watch such a beautiful romantic movie. It's a special treat, sometimes I feel like such black and white movies must be screened in multiplexes and Cinema Halls to new generation so that they could get to see wonderful gifts that our directors of those times have given to us. The time when it was made and the way it has been picturised really compels us to ponder how genius our directors were then. I never felt while watching this movie that I am not able to connect to it even in today's era, may be around half a century has already gone past since then. The locations of Kashmir has been so vividly shown in the songs.. The evergreen songs like "Bahot Shukriya Badi Meharbaani" and "Aap yuhi agar hamse milte rahe" take our hearts out of us. The acting of the characters are so natural, specially Sadhna, the actress in the movie who has performed so brilliantly that you will just be lost in her. She was gifted with the natural beauty in the same league of Madhubala. Her flawless figure, graceful body language, facial expressions, melodious voice, and unparallel charm in her eyes and lips coordination while speaking are something which made her a brand among ladies of those times. I have heard that there was a hair style famous on her, called 'Sadhna Cut'. I have seen some of her other movies like "Mera Saya" and "Wo kaun thi". Not only her acting skills were so natural and gifted, but also I feel like she would be among the best looking ladies in all times and generations.
