Indian girls made India proud by reaching to the Semifiinals of Uber Cup

Guru Sai Dutt defeated Five time Word champion and two time Olympic Gold medalist China born Lin Dan yesterday in Thomas Cup.  What a news, unbelievable to my ears!  Today I saw the highlights. What a journey Indian Badminton Team has made so far. It's really a proud moment for entire 125 crore Indians. I know even this top ranked Badminton tournament in the world is not getting much attention from Indian media and news channels. Neither people are showing much interest in this when it's being organised in our own country, and probably for the first time ever. To the contrary we are glued to TV for watching IPL matches. Mind it Uber Cup and Thomas Cup are played between the countries and billions of people across the world must be watching their players playing these matches with lots of hope and prayers for their teams to win the matches for they love this game a lot and their pride remains attached with the performances of these players. I just wish we could introspect ourselves..

Well our Indian girls have done something incredible that never happened before. yes these young ladies' team of Saina Nehwal, P V Sindhu, Jwala Gutta, Ashwini Ponnapa and others has reached to the Semi finals of Uber Cup. Yes, it's a reality now... I think Badminton is a game which is played in each nook and corner of our country. How can we ignore such an important tournament? Today I heard Saina speaking that many of the seats are vacant in Siri Fort Stadium of Delhi where these matches are being played, much to the dislike of these players as this is the top ranked tournament in the world of badminton and yet in India it is not getting much importance while the same tournament in all other countries draw the stadium full of crowds.

मोदी जी की सुनामी में बहने के बाद विपक्षी दलों में भारी हड़कम्प

मोदी जी के प्रचंड बहुमत के साथ दिल्ली की सत्ता तक पहुचने के साथ ही अधिकाँश विपक्षी दलों के इस चुनाव में सफाये के बीच इन पार्टियों की अपने वजूद को बचाने की भारी जद्दोजहद चल रही है।   बिहार में सत्तारूढ़ जनता दल (यूनाइटेड) के विधायकों के बीच इस हार के बाद भारी असंतोष की खबरें आ रही हैं।  यही नहीं इस हार की प्रमुख वजह नितीश जी का अच्छी भली विकास के पथ पर चल रही बिहार की भाजपा के साथ गठबंधन सरकार को तोड़ देना माना जा रहा है क्यूंकि इस तरह इन्होने बिहार में एक बड़े जनाधार को खो दिया।  बहरहाल नितीश जी ने हार की जिम्मेवारी लेते हुए मंत्रिमंडल सहित अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है।  हालांकि उन्होंने विधानसभा भंग करने की शिफारिश नहीं की है।  खबर ये भी है की नितीश जी एवं उनकी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष शरद यादव के बीच भारी मतभेद उभर आएं हैं।  हालत यह है की शरद जी ने बिहार में जनता दल (यूनाइटेड) एवं नितीश जी के घूर विरोधी लालू यादव जी के राष्ट्रीय जनता दल के साथ मिल कर गठबंधन सरकार बनाने के संकेत दिए हैं।  यह संकेत बिहार की राजनीति में अप्रत्याशित माना जा रहा है क्यूंकि बिहार में नितीश कुमार की अगवाई में लालू जी के भ्रष्टाचार एवं कुशाशन के खिलाफ ही जनता दल (यूनाइटेड) एवं भाजपा गठबंधन को वहां की जनता ने प्रचंड बहुमत के साथ पिछले दो बार बिहार की सत्ता तक पहुचाया था।  खैर राजनीति में कुछ भी संभव है।

दूसरी तरफ उत्तर प्रदेश से भी खबरें आ रही हैं की वहां भी घोर विरोधी पार्टियां मुलायम सिंह की सपा एवं मायावती की बसपा इन चुनावों में भयंकर हार के बाद गठबंधन के संकेत दे रही हैं।  वहीं दिल्ली राज्य की सरकार से तथाकथित लोकपाल विधयक के पास न होने देने के कांग्रेस व भाजपा के रवैये के वजह से मंत्रिमंडल सहित केजरीवाल के इस्तीफा दे कर आम चुनावों की तैयारी में जोर शोर से लगने के बावजूद भारी हार एवं दिल्ली की सात की सात लोक सभा सीटों पर पराजय के बाद केजरीवाल जी की पार्टी फिर से दिल्ली राज्य की सत्ता में वापस सरकार बनाने की जद्दोजहद में जुड़ गयी है।   दिल्ली में लोक सभा चुनाओ में भारी हार के बाद विधायकों में दहशत का माहौल बताया जा रहा है।   आशंका है कि अगली बार अगर विधान सभा चुनाव हुए तो शायद वापस आम आदमी पार्टी अपना पुराना प्रदर्शन न दुहरा पाये।

Dance of democracy and Modi

Dance of democracy will come to a stagnancy on the day when the new Prime Minister of India would be sworn in.  Such an enthusiasm was never witnessed for any election at least in my life span.  Amidst allegations and counter allegations by those in power and those in opposition, the level of disdain for each other touched the highest possible levels.  The PM candidate from the principal opposition party BJP was solely targeted by almost all parties other than those which are in NDA.  Most of the leaders forgot all the manners and in the race of abusing Modi ji, kept on raising the bars of indecency.  

The result was obvious.  Modiji is a strong and honest leader and for the people of India no body else in any party seems to be close to him who can instill confidence in their hearts.  Modi became most popular leader in last almost two years.  Targetting such a leader of masses proved fatal for all the parties in opposition. The more opposition targeted Modi, the more he went popular among the masses.  He always talked about the unity, development, equality and corruption free and good governance.  His simplicity and humble background as a tea vendor also won the hearts equally of both rich and poor.  He established himself as a leader who thinks differently, who has a real vision by which he can bring the pride of our nation back.  He took a different line than the BJP's earlier agenda of Hindutava or Ram Temple thereby bringing more sympathizers to him and his party.  He always talked about taking all the Indians together irrespective of what religion he belonged to.  Initially when he was not announced the PM candidate by BJP, I too had not thought that BJP can come to the stage where it can win more than 200 Lok Sabha seats of its own.  But now when I saw Modi ji doing marathon rallies all over India and the way he did his election campaigns and the way he put the confidence inside the party workers, my doubts got cleared since the election phase started.  Even when people were talking about a new party 'AAP' that it will win dozens of seat, I always differed and had strong feelings that a party like AAP with a leader who just dreams to become Prime Minister without struggle can not go long.  And the same happened.  The way it took the mind and space of the people, the same way it got eroded.  Further people who were erstwhile voting to different parties, have switched to BJP due to Modi ji's charismatic leadership quality.  Those who hate Modi, can do so, but they have to accept this reality that majority of public in India loves Modi and if Modi works well for the country, Modi is here to stay for multiple terms as PM.  

Wish you all the best Modi ji for you to tackle all the problems that our nation is facing.  It's not that easy to handle all those but with the love of people, I don't find it impossible.  The things are definitely going to improve when the nation will be in the hands of a strong, nationalist, visionary and honest leader like you.
