Candidates fighting the elections got their assets increased multiple times - any answers?

I read the news today that the assets declared by many candidates in the coming parliamentary election, have got their assets increased by multiple times.  Most of these leaders do not do anything other than politics as per their declarations, how do their assets multiply in such a short span of time, would they reply? Even many movie stars too who are part of this exercise, got huge assets in multi-crores.  I can't understand how their assets grew so fast even when either they are not working in movies now, or they are mostly flops and not among the mainstream successful actors?  Election reforms are very much required today, there must be strict guidelines and restrictions for those who want to fight elections.  MPs or MLAs should be servants of the people not Kings or queens who are there just to tax people and amass assets by illegal means. Irrespective of parties most of those fighting elections come in this business just to make money.  It's really unfortunate. This is why I say that don't beat your own drums about world's most successful democracy. In fact democracy has literally failed in India. Divide and rule is the only policy this democracy has given the parties and candidates to win and rule their constituencies. Now when  somebody has come in fore front to bring people together talking about Nation First, we have a glimpse of hope only in Modiji today. Let's hope he wins this election and bring changes even in the so called democratic process which has numerous flaws.
