Indian Cricket Team or Team India - BCCI it's time to decide?
Today no body would like to be compared with Dhoni, as a batsman, as a keeper or as a captain... I always heard from the people that he depends more on luck and not on technique... he is not technically good that world knew, now the luck is not on his side, his flopshow continues which led the Indian team's boat capsize in the middle of the Australian Sea.... Everytime we fail on the overseas soil, team management and experts say that they will examine the situation and will take the appropriate steps to improve the same... but after coming back to India, starts another series on Indian fields and there the same team performs and hence media and all experts the same ones who critisized the team for their failures in overseas matches, starts praising the team like they are the tigers and they can not be defeated, they have legends who are world beaters and no body is as great as they are and so on and so forth. On the top of the cake, cherry is that IPL which happens every year and goes for almost two months that seems to be an affair which makes us forget the failures of the Indian team so fast as the speed of light. The same Dhoni, Tendulkar, Luxman and Sehwaag become Gods of Cricket. And then after another failure, the same players themselves complain, it's due to lots of cricket the players play, they are not able to cope up with the pressure... who tells you to play in all formats, tell me! Who tells you to participate in IPL? It's only your choice, you want to make money... for you pride is not their in winning for the team, you only want to win for yourself and for you winning means minting money playing in tournaments like IPL and exposing yourself to foreign bowlers regularly and give them the opportunity to make strategies against you and your team very easily. Further, there is no planning in the management and the think tank of the BCCI. Good players keep waiting for long to be selected in the team as the old monks (Sachin, Luxman, Dravid, Shewaag) are not ready to step out.. The Tendulkar who is waiting for his 100th Century for how long, I don't know when this wait will be over... should feel shame and if any grace is still left inside him, he should immediately get retired.. It's not necessary to get 100 centuries after combining the centuries in the two formats, it's never gonna be registered in the record books... the two formats are different. Why getting so emotional for one hundred... A small suggestion to the richest board in world cricket, BCCI, make planning to give chance to play the younger Indian teams to go aboard on tours and play as much as possible, not with teams like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka... Make bouncy tracks in India as well... and don't just make pitches for the sake of your spinners only... because spin is not an art limited to India, it's an art world over players have learnt and in fact they are performing far better than our bowlers... you can see the statstics... every team has got very good spin bowlers... and our own bowlers are not getting wickets... remove this contract system of paying the players without even playing a match or without performing when playing a match... No need to classify players in Group A, B and C rather make a system of payment on the basis of their performance in the last ten or twenty innings... and those who perform should be kept in the team and those who don't should be removed immediately how so ever talented or experienced the player be. Make one strong policy to implement these things... players should not be allowed to play in all the formats... they should also be rotated so as to make them available at all times, their fitness level should also be given prime importance. If you implement such a policy, if we don't become world beaters, at least we would not finish off the games losing like a lamb in just two and half days... You can see the consistency in the teams like England, Australia and South Africa, they are the teams who can lose on a day but these days are rare... so you should learn from their policies, their determination and their hardwork though their boards are no where closer to you in terms of the wealth... take lessons... hard I know it's not easy because people are in the habit of forgetting the loss soon in order to lose again and again and again...
